Requirements for a Motorcycle Rental

You must be at least 21 years old
You must have a valid motorcycle class driver’s license (or a motorcycle class driving permit for the 250 Rebel only).
You must have a major credit card

What is Included in the Rental Rate

Standard Insurance
2 Helmets – half shell

Customer Orientation

Every client will receive orientation to the motorcycle. The client orientation will cover all aspects of safe motorcycle operation, the clients’ maintenance responsibilities, local and state laws.

Fuel

Fuel costs are client’s responsibility. Cycle Visions Motorcycle Rental claims no responsibility for motorcycle fuel consumption and mileage. You have the option to prepay for fuel during the booking process. If prepaid fuel is not purchased and motorcycle needs any fuel added, a $75 charge for motorcycles and a $125 charge for Slingshots will be added.

Helmets (Included in Daily Rental Rate)

2 Helmets (half shell) is provided with all motorcycle rentals and tours. Full face helmets are available for an additional rental fee.  Clients are encouraged to bring their own helmets for comfort and style.

Additional Drivers

Additional driver are permitted but must purchase additional insurance at a cost of $26.00 per day. The minimum age for an additional driver is 21 and must have a valid motorcycle license. Maintenance and Tire damage Responsibility

The customer is responsible for checking engine oil levels at each refueling and reporting mechanical failures immediately. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at pick-up. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. I you have a flat tire while on the rental, You are responsible for the tire repair or replacement and any towing fees.

Motorcycle Substitution

Cycle Visions Motorcycle Rental reserves the right to substitute the motorcycle confirmed to rental client. Should Cycle Visions Motorcycle Rental not be able to provide confirmed motorcycle a similar or better model will be provided to the client. This constitutes the maximum liability of Cycle Visions Motorcycle Rental.

Security Deposit

A Security deposit of $3000.00 is required at the time of rental or you can purchase the Loss Damage Waiver which will lower the Deposit to $1,500.  This will be authorized on your credit card at time of pick-up.

Restrictions

Violation of listed restrictions voids insurance and client will be held liable for damages.

Road Restriction: Rental motorcycles are not allowed on gravel roads, beaches, logging or other non-public roads.

Return Policy

A rental day is 24 hours. A fee of $50/hour may apply for motorcycles returned late.

Refund Policy

All confirmed rental reservations are non-refundable, unless specified under that of the Reservation Cancellation Protection guidelines (see below). No refunds on early returns.

Payment Methods

Cycle Visions Motorcycle Rental accepts the following methods of payment: Cash, Travelers Checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Checks are not accepted for security deposit.

Holiday, Rallies and Event Surcharges

All rentals during event/rally dates are subject to a 7 day minimum rental period.

Environmental Surcharge

The Environmental impact fee of 6.75% is charged for all reservations.

Booking Terms

Reservation must be paid in full to guarantee rate and rental date.
Reservations are non-refundable.
Discount rates are subject to availability.

 Insurance Policies and Surcharges

At the time of rental it is required to bind State mandatory liability insurance to the bike you are renting.  There is a $15.00 charge for this. Because motorcycle rentals are considered an exotic rental most credit cards and insurance do not transfer the same way as they do with normal car rentals. PLEASE always check your credit company or insurance company for additional coverage.
